  1. CHILDREN:
    We consider guests as children up to their 12th birthday.
     
  2. PETS:
    No pets allowed (unless discussed with the management).
     
  3. PAYMENT TERMS:
    Your reservation is confirmed when the full amount is transferred.
     
  4. CANCELLATIONS:
    a) More than 30 days before arrival: No charge (100% refunded).
    b) Within 30 days before arrival: Full charge (no refunding)
     
  5. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
    a) Check-in-time: 02:00pm until midnight
    b) Check-out-time: before 11:00am
     
  6. MINORS:
    For minors (18-) the parents take the full responsibility (including swimming-pool!).
     
  7. PARKING:
    If there is space (and usually there is), you may park inside the compound.
     
  8. HOTEL EVENTS:
    There may be events or concerts in the restaurant or around the swimming-pool.
     
  9. DISPUTE RESOLUTIONS / PROBLEMS:
    a) Final agreements can only be made with the management.
    b) In case of no agreement the local Sheha (village-eldest) will be consulted.
    c) Any further disputes will be solved following Zanzibar laws.
     
  10. LIABILITY HOTEL:
    a) The Hotel is not liable for any losses of items that were not locked in the room-safe or left in care of the management.
    b) There is no guard at the swimming-pool. You and your children swim at your own risk. The hotel takes no responsibility for any incidents.
     
  11. FORCE MAJEURE:
    For any losses or damages due to «Force Majeure» the guests have to be insured themselves.
     
  12. LOST ROOM-KEYS:
    Lost room-keys will be charged with USD 50.
     
  13. POWER-CUT:
    In case of power cut  (running on generator) AC and warm water heater should not be used.
     
  14. SAFE:
    Please leave your safe unlocked at your departure.
     
  15. SMOKING:
    Our apartments are non-smoking apartments. Thanks for respecting. You may of course smoke on your private terrace.
     
  16. TOURS / EXCURSIONS:
    All SIMBA offers are in full responsibility of the tour providers. Please check the insurance modalities directly with the tour provider.
     
  17. LIABILITY GUESTS:
    Customers are liable for any damages in the apartments that are not due to use of their best knowledge.
     
  18. ARRIVAL:
    a) At your arrival the booking person has to leave a copy of his passport.
    b) At your arrival the booking person has to sign and agree with these policies.
    c) At your arrival we ask the booking person for a deposit of USD 100 (liability).
    d) Please leave a phone-number so that we can reach you.
